Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa (usually named Jason Momoa), is a well known American model and actor. He was born on August 1, 1979 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.  He got his first break in TV series, “Baywatch” (1989) in Hawaii and this led to the start of his career.

In the year 1999, Jason won Hawaii’s Model of the Year prestigious award and subsequently also hosted the Miss Teen Hawaii contest. He has also been nominated for the Scream Award and  Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for ‘ Game of Thrones ’ in 2011-12. Jason’s famous movies are: Bullet to the Head, Conan the Barbarian, The Game, North Shore, Tempted and many more.
