  • In order to attain a good and healthy body, Jennifer makes sure to workout at least five or six days a week i.e. almost every day.
  • Her workout routines include Yoga (three days a week), Cardio: running, spinning, the elliptical or a combination of the three and Pilates (one day a week).
  • She focuses on a full body workout and her yoga routine consists of sun salutes, plank poses for her arms and shoulders, tree pose, chair pose for her legs and a few others. Her personal trainer Mandy Ingber often adds some squats in the yoga routine.
  • Jen is also fond of Budokon which is a mix martial arts, yoga and deep breathing which helps channelizing energy and achieve balance.
  • Being an actress by profession she is usually on the move which takes its toll on her workout regime, but she keeps herself prepared and carries out weights with her (usually 8 pounds) for exercise on the go.

  • She has been known to follow the ZONE diet which goes 40:30:30 ratios of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
    • Carbohydrates from fruits, vegetables and whole grain breads.
    • Proteins from foods like fish, chicken, tofu and egg whites.
    • Olive oil, avocados and fish oil.
  • Her diet often includes foods with high proteins, low fat and rich in omega-3 (usually omega-3 rich fish)
  • She won’t mind tightening up a bit whenever she needs to focus on something specific but she doesn’t believe in starving herself for that.
  • It may vary though, her usual meals go like
    • Breakfast – wheat bread with apple butter and cheese along with a cereal bar or smoothies using coconut water with frozen watermelon.
    • Lunch – soup with greens like spinach, dandelion greens, zucchini or salads having lentils, beans, tomatoes, cheese, green onions.
    • Dinner – seaweed salad; white fish with nuts and beans; marinated salmon with asparagus, shallots, mushrooms; Chicken Burrito.
